Job Title: Housing and Support Worker
Location: Bradford Project, 43 Blenheim Road, Bradford, BD8 7LH
Salary: £26,550 per annum (£13.61 per hour)
Contract: Monthly review basis (decommissioning support role)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)
Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll support residents and the service through a structured move-on and housing transition process, combining housing management, homelessness support, and tenancy sustainment work.
In this role, you will:
Housing Management & Move-On
- Support planned move-on into suitable accommodation
- Liaise with local authorities and housing providers
- Assist with housing applications, bidding, and rent arrears
- Maintain property standards during decommissioning
Support Work & Tenancy Sustainment
- Provide person-centred support to homeless adults (low–medium needs)
- Deliver key work sessions focused on independence and tenancy skills
- Maintain case notes and support plans
- Signpost to relevant services and support pathways
Safeguarding & Compliance
- Complete risk assessments and follow safeguarding procedures
- Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
- Respond to incidents and safeguarding concerns
Administration & Partnership Working
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work with housing teams, local authorities, and partners
- Attend meetings and contribute to reviews and updates
Who We’re Looking For:
You’re experienced in housing, homelessness, or supported accommodation services, and confident working with vulnerable adults in a structured support environment.
You will:
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Have an Enhanced DBS (Adult & Children)
- Have experience in housing management, homelessness, or support work
- Understand tenancy sustainment and housing processes
- Be confident working independently and managing a caseload
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
