NursLink is recruiting a Support Worker for Queen Mary Hostel, a women-only service in London SW1, providing supported housing for women with complex mental health and dual diagnosis needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-support, trauma-informed setting supporting women to live safely, develop life skills, and engage with services.

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week – early (8:00–16:00) & late (13:00–21:00) shifts, alternate weekends

Pay Rate: £13.62/hr

DBS: Enhanced (required on day one)

Travel: Excellent tube and bus links (Victoria, Pimlico, St James’ Park)

Breaks: 30 minutes per shift

About the Scheme
Queen Mary Hostel supports 49 women in a high-support 24-hour service, and Chapter Street, a 10-bed step-down service, providing structured support for women transitioning to independent living. The service is women-only and caters to residents with complex mental health needs, dual diagnosis, and trauma backgrounds.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will:

Hold a caseload of up to 10 residents, providing key working support

Apply trauma-informed, psychologically informed approaches to engagement

Lead and facilitate groups and activities

Support residents with life skills, health, wellbeing, and access to services

Complete duty tasks and contribute to team working
This role requires someone who is proactive, reliable, flexible, and motivated to go the extra mile for residents.
Who We’re Looking For

Experience working with vulnerable women in supported housing or homelessness settings

Knowledge of mental health, dual diagnosis, and trauma-informed approaches

Strong teamworking, communication, and engagement skills

Ability to support and motivate women with complex needs

Enhanced DBS – CQC standard
