Support Worker – Supported Housing & Accommodation
£13-14/hr | Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm | Temporary, up to 2 months
This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, empathetic, and resilient individuals to help customers develop life skills, achieve independence, and access opportunities in education, training, and the community.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised, strengths-based support:
- Co-produce and deliver bespoke support and move-on plans with customers and stakeholders.
- Assist with daily living, tenancy matters, budgeting, and financial independence.
- Support customers to access education, training, employment, and community opportunities.
- Promote health, wellbeing, and safe, independent living.
- Empower customers to self-manage medication following procedures.
- Lead group work and support initiatives to develop skills and confidence.
- Ensure safeguarding, report incidents, and maintain a safe living environment.
- Record clear, factual, strengths-based information using local digital platforms.
- Facilitate referrals into the service and support move-on planning.
- Contribute to housing management, including reporting repairs and tenancy-related support.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, young parents, or other complex needs.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed or psychologically informed approaches (desirable).
- Ability to deliver structured support, manage risk, and resolve challenging situations.
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills.
- Caring, empathetic, resilient, and flexible with a can-do attitude.
- Team player who can use initiative and confidently make decisions.
- Knowledge of tenancy support, benefits systems, and housing support is a bonus.
