Floating Housing Case Worker – Leeds

📍 Location: Engage Leeds, Ladybeck House, 26 Ladybeck Close, Leeds LS2 7QX
💰 Pay: £14–£16 per hour (paid weekly)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
📅 Start Date: ASAP
🕒 Duration: Minimum 3 months (with potential to extend)
🔒 DBS: Enhanced required
🚗 Driving: Strongly preferred – due to the mobile nature of the role

 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting up to 20 clients at risk of homelessness, eviction, or struggling with tenancy issues

• Delivering person-centred, housing-related support in people’s homes and communities

• Helping people resettle into accommodation and sustain their tenancies

• Working with clients facing complex needs such as mental health challenges, substance use, or domestic abuse

• Promoting independence, wellbeing, and community connection

• Liaising with housing teams, health services, and local partners

• Keeping clear, accurate records and support plans using IT systems

 You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

• Have experience in housing support, floating support, or tenancy sustainment

• Understand the housing system and support landscape in Leeds

• Are confident working alone, using initiative, and managing your time well

• Are compassionate, resilient, and great at building trust with people

• Have experience supporting individuals facing multiple barriers

• Are a clear communicator and problem-solver

• Have strong IT and admin skills

 Bonus if You Drive:

Most of your support will be delivered face-to-face in clients’ homes across Leeds. A driving licence and access to a vehicle will make this role much easier, but it’s not essential if you’re highly familiar with the area and confident navigating it.
