Support Worker – Swindon Young Parents Accommodation
Are you passionate about supporting young families to build brighter futures? Riverside is looking for a Support Worker to join our Swindon Young Parents Accommodation service, helping parents develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living.
This role is well-suited to someone who:

Has experience working with young people, families, or in supported housing

Understands the challenges young parents face and can offer practical, non-judgemental support

Can build trust quickly and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds

Is resilient, flexible, and able to manage sensitive or challenging situations with care

Has good organisational and IT skills for planning and record-keeping
What you’ll be doing:

Working alongside parents to develop essential life skills such as budgeting, managing a home, and accessing community resources

Supporting families with tenancy responsibilities and preparing them for independent living

Helping parents access education, training, and employment opportunities

Promoting the wellbeing and safety of families through safeguarding and partnership working
Main Information:
Location: Swindon Young Parents Accommodation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hrs per week)
Contract: Temporary, up to 2 months (immediate start)
DBS: Enhanced Adult & Children
