Are you passionate about supporting young families to build brighter futures? Riverside is looking for a Support Worker to join our Swindon Young Parents Accommodation service, helping parents develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living.

This role is well-suited to someone who:

• Has experience working with young people, families, or in supported housing

• Understands the challenges young parents face and can offer practical, non-judgemental support

• Can build trust quickly and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds

• Is resilient, flexible, and able to manage sensitive or challenging situations with care

• Has good organisational and IT skills for planning and record-keeping

What you’ll be doing:

• Working alongside parents to develop essential life skills such as budgeting, managing a home, and accessing community resources

• Supporting families with tenancy responsibilities and preparing them for independent living

• Helping parents access education, training, and employment opportunities

• Promoting the wellbeing and safety of families through safeguarding and partnership working

Main Information:

Location: Swindon Young Parents Accommodation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hrs per week)
Contract: Temporary, up to 2 months (immediate start)
DBS: Enhanced Adult & Children
