Support Worker – Booker House (Learning Disability Service)
Riverside is seeking a Support Worker to join the team at Booker House, a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities.
You will work alongside customers to help build independence, develop life skills, and access opportunities in education, training, and community engagement!
Main Information:
Location: Booker House, Upham Road, Swindon, SN3 1DH
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hrs per week)
Contract: Temporary, up to 2 months (immediate start)
DBS: Enhanced Adult & Children
Key responsibilities:

Co-produce support and move-on plans with customers and stakeholders

Support with daily living, tenancy-related matters, and budgeting

Promote healthcare, wellbeing, and safe independent living

Ensure safeguarding and record accurate customer information
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex needs

Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills

A caring, empathetic, and resilient approach

Knowledge of trauma-informed or psychologically informed practice (desirable)
