Community Nurse – Croydon | £21.50/hr | Temporary Day Shifts | 08:30am-14:30pm

NursLink is recruiting experienced Community Nurses to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes across the Croydon area.

The Role:

As a Community Nurse, you’ll deliver a wide range of clinical care in patients’ homes, supporting individuals with acute and long-term healthcare needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

• IV medication administration
• Venepuncture and phlebotomy
• Wound care, including VAC therapy
• PEG feed management and medication administration
• PICC and Hickman line care
• Male, female and suprapubic catheterisation
• Compression and short stretch bandaging
• Diabetes management and insulin administration
• Blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring
• Syringe driver management
• Suture and staple removal
• Pressure ulcer and surgical wound care
• Medicine management
• Doppler assessments
• Initial patient assessments
• Working closely with GPs, community teams and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
• Minimum 1yr UK Community Nursing experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Own vehicle (essential)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
