Job Title: Temporary Registered Manager
Location: Lorenco House, 9 College Road, London, N17 8EA
Salary: £45,370.20 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Temporary (12-week assignment)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (shifts between 7:00am – 6:00pm)
Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take the lead in ensuring the service runs safely, smoothly, and in full compliance while the current Registered Manager is away.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the service with confidence and clarity
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
- Maintain high standards of care, safety, and service delivery
- Support, guide, and manage staff to ensure consistent cover and performance
- Oversee safeguarding, incidents, risk assessments, and care quality
- Manage rotas, staffing challenges, and operational decisions
- Keep documentation, audits, and compliance records accurate and up to date
- Work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and senior leadership
- Ensure the service continues to meet all regulatory and contractual standards
- Provide a smooth and professional handover when the permanent manager returns
Who We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced leader who can step in, take control, and make an immediate difference.
You will:
- Be a current or experienced CQC Registered Manager
- Have a strong background in supported accommodation or similar services
- Be confident leading teams and managing services independently
- Have excellent knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and risk management
- Be decisive, organised, and calm under pressure
- Be able to quickly assess situations and stabilise services
- Have strong communication and leadership skills
- Be available to start immediately or at very short notice
