Are you an experienced Support Worker in London passionate about helping women with complex needs achieve independence?
NursLink is recruiting a Supported Housing Support Worker for Queen Mary Hostel, a women-only supported housing service in London SW1, providing accommodation and specialist support for women with complex mental health needs, trauma backgrounds, homelessness, and dual diagnosis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-support, trauma-informed supported housing environment, helping women live safely, develop independent living skills, and engage with community and healthcare services.

Role: Women’s Support Worker (Mental Health)
Location: Queen Mary Hostel, 28 Greencoat Place, London SW1P 1DX
Start Date: 2nd Feb 2026
Duration: 5 months (with potential to extend)
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week – early (8:00–16:00) & late (13:00–21:00) shifts, includes weekends, no night shifts
Pay Rate: £14/hr
DBS: Enhanced DBS required
Travel: Excellent tube and bus links (Victoria, Pimlico, St James’ Park)
Breaks: 30 minutes per shift
Lone Working: No
About the Scheme
Queen Mary Hostel supports 49 women in a 24-hour high-support supported housing service, alongside Chapter Street, a 10-bed step-down supported accommodation service for women transitioning to independent living.
The service is women-only supported housing and supports residents experiencing homelessness, complex mental health conditions, trauma, and dual diagnosis.
Your Role:
As a Support Worker you will:

Hold a caseload of up to 10 residents, providing key worker support

Apply trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches

Lead and facilitate support groups and resident activities

Support residents with life skills, health, wellbeing, housing stability, and access to services

Complete support plans, duty tasks, and team responsibilities
This role requires someone who is proactive, reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting vulnerable women in supported housing.
Who We’re Looking For

Experience working with vulnerable women, homelessness services, or supported housing

Knowledge of mental health support, dual diagnosis, and trauma-informed care
-
Strong teamwork, communication, and engagement skills

Ability to support and motivate women with complex needs

Enhanced DBS (CQC standard)
