NursLink is recruiting a Female Support Worker for The Beeches, a 24-hour supported housing service in Fallowfield, Manchester, supporting women aged 18–25 with complex needs.

(Occasional cover at Stopover, 8 Scarsdale Rd, Victoria Park, Manchester, M14 5PS)

- Pay Rate: £14-16/hr

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week – rota-based

Early: 7:30am–3:30pm | Late: 2:00pm–10:00pm

Includes weekends & bank holidays

DBS: Enhanced – must be brought on first day

Travel: On-site parking & excellent bus routes

Breaks: 30 minutes per shift

Lone Working: Yes (single cover at weekends)
About the Service
The Beeches is a 22-bed supported housing project for single homeless women aged 18–25, providing short-term accommodation and structured support to help residents develop independent living skills, emotional resilience, and pathways into work or education.
Your Role
You’ll hold a caseload of up to 10 residents, supporting them to:

Co-produce risk assessments and support plans

Set and achieve personal goals

Access benefits, budgeting, housing, health, and wellbeing support

Engage with education, training, and employment services
-
Work with partner agencies through multi-agency meetings
This is a true Support Worker role — focused on empowerment and long-term outcomes, not personal care.
What You’ll Need
- Experience supporting homeless people, ideally young women with complex needs
- Strong communication, motivation, and engagement skill
- Background in supported housing, homelessness, or women’s services
- Enhanced DBS (must be presented on your first day)
