NursLink is hiring a Night Concierge and Security Assistant / Night Assistant at Whitehaven Foyer, supporting homeless young adults aged 16–25. This role is ideal for someone with experience in supported housing, mental health, or children’s services who wants to make a positive impact.

Key Details:

• Location: 45 Irish Street, Whitehaven, Cumbria, CA28 7DB

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Duration: 12 weeks (Temp-to-Perm opportunity available)

• Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday–Sunday shift pattern

• Pay Rate: £14.48/hour 

• DBS: Enhanced for children and adults

• Training: Safeguarding adults and children required

About the Role:

• Provide safe, supported accommodation across 19 units of shared flats or self-contained rooms

• Support residents to develop life skills, housing independence, and employment or training opportunities

• Maintain a secure environment and monitor wellbeing during night hours

• Deliver activities and training programs to help young people progress

Who You Are:

• Experienced in supported housing, mental health, or children’s services

• DBS enhanced for children and adults

• Confident with safeguarding responsibilities

• Dedicated to helping young people gain independence and thrive
