NursLink are recruiting an experienced Floating Tenancy Case Worker to work within a drug and alcohol service, providing practical, community-based tenancy support.
*Please note: This role is not suitable for care or residential support workers unless you have direct housing and tenancy experience, which must be clearly shown on your CV.*
The Role
You’ll manage a community-based caseload of approximately 10 customers, supporting individuals with housing, benefits, budgeting, and tenancy set-up. You’ll work independently across the community, liaising with housing providers and partner agencies to promote long-term tenancy sustainment.
There is no personal care involved in this role.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of customers in the community

Support individuals to secure housing

Set up new tenancies, including utilities and payment plans

Support applications for benefits and grants

Complete support plans and risk assessments

Liaise with housing providers, health services, and other agencies

Promote independence, budgeting, and life skills

Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding and lone-working procedures
Essential Requirements

Proven housing / tenancy support experience (must be evidenced on your CV)

Enhanced DBS clearance

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Experience supporting vulnerable adults (e.g. homelessness, substance misuse)

Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills
