We’re hiring a Floating Housing Case Worker in Leeds to support vulnerable people at risk of homelessness, eviction, or tenancy breakdown. This role may also suit candidates with experience as a Housing Support Worker, Homelessness Support Worker, Floating Support Worker, Tenancy Support Worker, or Housing & Tenancy Case Worker. You’ll play a key role in helping people live independently, connect with their community, and build a more secure future.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Housing Case Worker, you’ll provide tailored housing-related support:

Supporting up to 20 clients at risk of homelessness or struggling with tenancy issues.

Delivering person-centred support in clients’ homes and communities.

Helping people resettle into accommodation and sustain tenancies.

Working with individuals facing complex needs such as mental health challenges, substance use, or domestic abuse.

Promoting independence, wellbeing, and connection to local services.

Liaising with housing teams, health services, and local partners.

Keeping clear, accurate records and support plans using IT systems.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in housing support, floating support, or tenancy sustainment.

Good knowledge of the housing system and local support services in Leeds.

Resilient, empathetic, and able to build trust with people.

Confident working independently and managing your time effectively.

Experience supporting people with multiple barriers.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
Bonus if You Drive
Most support is delivered face-to-face in clients’ homes across Leeds. A driving licence and vehicle will make travel easier, but strong local knowledge and confidence using public transport can also work.
